4. Unfinished business

Business Cards - will revisit later (after FRC season) to discuss specifics

Kiwanis - Aaron presented and got good feedback.  We should consider getting in front of other groups in the area.

5. Committee status reports

   

   Organization: Matt Craig (Jason Ryan reporting)

     - Jason will have a call with lawyer resource to finish our paperwork and get submitted - targeting this week

     - Pre-approval to spend up to 500$.  Motion seconded and approved.

     - Board bios - all board members please update doc on sharepoint with your info and picture.  Aaron will send link to document.

 

   Facilities: Brad Mackowick (Brian Mullenberg, Aaron Fischer, and Jason Ryan reporting)

     - Committee met last week.  Looked at a potential new location, low end $4/sqft, $6-7/sqft probably more common. 

     - Committee recommended 2 paths given unknown of who or when we could move teams into the Sams Club location in                        Moorhead.  Investigate other potential free or reduced locations that might be available in the area.  As low as ~3000 sqft                  might be doable.  Start of a list of people / group in process

     - Re-approach Monte to stay another year.  Brian and Jason graciously volunteered

     - Jason showed the start of details for a business plan together - initial budget would be ~$80k

     - Aaron will survey other teams in the area to gauge the level of support needed (including facility space) - still in process

     - Board suggests doing Sanford level fundraising request now - under GFMEDC

 

   Fundraising: Jason Ryan

     - Suggest we try get Eric Krueger involved to help in this.  Tim will reach out

     - Need to get included in Giving Hearts Day for next year.  Rory will watch for this.

     - Jason will schedule a committee meeting  - everyone forward to anyone interested

 

   PR: Hannah Reisdorf (Rory Held reporting)

     - Clothing order is extended to 3/15.  Aaron will send link to STEM alliance general distribution.

     - Website - updates in progress

 

6. New Business

potential donation to Hawley FLL going to Worlds, and Eagles FLL to Lego Land.  -  Suggest they fill out a grant request and submit

Newsletter/Meeting minutes  -  Aaron will bring some content proposals for a quarterly? Newsletter - after we start posting meeting minutes instead of sending them out
